Our Stadium
The stadium is situated at 96 Coonoor Road, Timaru.

Built in 1984 by a group of enthusiastic volunteers the stadium has room
for 13 tables and has played host to both New Zealand and South Island Championships. Due
to Timarus central location (two hours from Christchurch in the north and two and a
half hours from Dunedin in the south) the South Island Teams Champs are held in Timaru
every two years.
Local competitions are played on Monday nights commencing at 7pm.
Annual subscriptions:
Seniors: $25 plus a $5 nightly fee
Juniors: $20 plus a $2 nightly fee
Bats and balls are provided.
Tuesday afternoon from 2pm until 4pm the Active in Age members enjoy a bit of a hit, a bit
of a chat and some afternoon tea. Cost of this is $2 per player.
A social evening for anybody wishing to come along for a hit is held on Friday nights
commencing at 7pm until 8.30pm. Cost of this is $2 per player. Bats and balls are
provided.
The stadium is hired to the Highfield Gymnastics Club and throughout the year they use the
facility 3 nights per week plus the occasional weekend. It is also used by the local
8-ball association for their annual tournament and by youth groups.
Anybody wishing to hire the facility can contact Gay Morrison-Stapp.
